Students will rehearse daily for two public performances to be given outdoors. All aspects of theater will be explored in daily workshops: basic stage skills along with voice and diction, building believable characters, dialect, stage presence, memorization techniques, focus and concentration, stage movement/stage fighting, team building, language study and the unique characteristics of performing Shakespeare's beautiful language. Using the NO FEAR Shakespeare Series, students will have the classical text alongside a modern translation to insure understanding and success.
Each day of camp will be spent in two sessions: skills training and performance rehearsal with a lunch break in between.
