Twin Oaks Announces New Head of School

After serving faithfully as our Head of School for two years, Ms. Kendall Brewer felt the Lord leading her back the classroom.

A Search Committee formed in January of 2021, and by the end of April, the School Board was happy to announce that the Lord brought Mrs. Julie Corday back to Twin Oaks to fill the role as Head of School. Mrs. Cordray brings 18 years of experience in educational instruction, leadership and additional experience with Christian non-profits.

You may remember Mrs. Cordray from her time at Twin Oaks, from 2005-2018, during which time she specialized in Language Arts and developed a passion for our middle school program.  In addition to teaching Language Arts, she also served as a Curriculum Coordinator and in leadership as the Middle School Coordinator. Mrs. Cordray was called away from TOCS for a time when her family was led to Indiana. Providentially, Mrs. Cordray has been called back to St. Louis and, if God allows, has every desire to serve at Twin Oaks for many years to come.

Mrs. Cordray returned to St. Louis at the end of May and jumped right in to get us ready for the 2021-22 academic year. We are thankful to have her back at TOCS and will share more about her as the year unfolds!
