Philosophy
It is our goal to help children reach their highest potential in every area of development. Learning in our Preschool program is fun, exciting and play-centered. Our main emphasis is on the social interaction among the children, but we also provide many opportunities for children to learn and grow. Play is the most important avenue for learning at the preschool level. Therefore, we provide a fun, safe, and positive learning environment for each child. Preschool is a time for the children to discover God’s world, experiment, and experience the joy of learning new things.

Philosophy
The Pre-Kindergarten program at Twin Oaks Christian School uses a hands-on approach to learning. We believe the best way to build confidence in children is to provide challenges, both mental and physical, and give the help and encouragement necessary for success. The children sing, listen to and act out stories, use learning games and manipulatives, and experiment with different art and cooking activities. Our goal is to present the children with a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities and provide an environment which promotes optimum development. We strive to make each lesson fun, unique and full of age-appropriate activities, while at the same time acknowledging and giving honor to God.
